Assessment

Maxwell DISC Assessment

Understand yourself. Connect with others. Lead with intention.

Maxwell DISC is a proven behavioral assessment that helps individuals understand how they communicate, make decisions, and interact with others. Michele is a DISC Behavioral Analysis Certified Consultant and runs the assessment with a live debrief, so the report turns into something you actually use.

“Most leadership friction is not a values problem. It is two capable people using completely different instructions for the same conversation. Maxwell DISC puts those instructions on the table, and the team stops spending its energy guessing.”
Michele Smith, MHA, PCC · ICF Professional Certified Coach

The framework

What is the DISC Assessment?

Based on four primary behavioral styles — Dominant, Influencing, Steady, and Compliant — it provides a simple, practical framework to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and elevate effectiveness in the workplace.

Grounded in John Maxwell’s leadership principles, Maxwell DISC goes beyond awareness to equip individuals and teams with actionable strategies they can apply immediately. It is a lens, not a label: there is no score to pass, no style that is better than another, and nothing in the report that predicts who will succeed.

How Michele works with it

  • Individual debriefs inside a coaching engagement.
  • Team debriefs that connect styles to the situations the team is facing right now.
  • Workshops that pair the framework with live communication practice, not just theory.
  • Follow-up coaching so the language survives past the session.

The four styles

The Maxwell DISC Method, in one picture

Where you sit between task and people orientation, and how outgoing or reserved your pace tends to be, shapes your default style. Each style brings real strengths, and each carries a pattern that shows up under pressure.

Four questions

Curious where you land?

Answer four questions for a snapshot of your likely style, emailed to you to keep. It is a pointer, not a report — the full assessment is what gives you the detail and the strategies.

Choose this if

You want more than a document. The debrief is where the report becomes decisions: how you are landing with your team, which habits are costing you, and what to change in the conversations already on your calendar. Michele reviews your report before you meet, so the hour is spent on you, not on admin.

Secure checkout via Stripe. Michele emails your assessment link, usually the same working day, and your debrief appears in your client dashboard to book.

Assessment and report only

$150

The assessment and your personalized report, without a debrief. Already coaching with Michele? Take this option and use one of your existing sessions for the debrief, so you are never charged twice for her time.

Assessments for a team

$150 per person

Order reports for the whole leadership group. Group debriefs and workshops are scoped separately, since ten individual debriefs and one group session are very different amounts of Michele’s time.

I've worked with Michele as my coach for the past four months, and the experience has been remarkable. It's arguably the best management learning I've had in my 30-year career. Michele is fantastic at supporting and tracking goals, and she's very much focused on you, the client. She's very engaged in your personal journey, and she is supportive along the way. I found her to be exceptional in helping me maintain my personal accountability, and I've grown as a leader as a result. The time I've spent with her has been extremely valuable to me, and I believe her skills as a coach can help anyone with any leadership position at any company. I highly recommend her, and I am very happy with what I have learned so far working with her.
